PAFA Perspectives: Paintings Through the Conservator's Eyes

Friday, April 12, 3 - 4 p.m.

PAFA's Paintings Conservator, Judy Dion leads a gallery tour through the historic galleries and discusses the thought processes and planning that go into preserving the art collection. Examples of X-radiographs and other forms of visual analysis will be presented to demonstrate some of the ways that close examination and technical research on works of art can inform our understanding of artists' working techniques.

Available to Friend level members and above.
