Flowers Empower Floral Workshop with Marvin Edward and Marcellus

This workshop will guide participants through the basics of floral arranging. Whether going with a classic vase, using your favorite pair of unwearable DocMartens as a vessel, or escaping the vessel to create a freeform arrangement, participants will be introduced to a variety of creative floral techniques. Lead by artist, Marcellus Armstrong, and florist, Marvin Edward, this workshop is meant to reflect on flowers, their creative potential, their historical symbolism throughout art, and the ability of craft making to be a form of self-care and communal gathering. 

Limited to 20 participants. Participants are welcome to bring their own vessel if they choose. Museum admission is included with your registration.
