Don't miss the chance to take a guided tour through PAFA's portion of Rising Sun: Artists in an Uncertain America, a transformative exhibition of new works examining the provocative and timely question: “Is the sun rising or setting on the experiment of American democracy?” Time is running out to see the exhibition at PAFA and the African American Museum in Philadelphia (AAMP). This one-of-a-kind exhibition will be on display until December 31, 2023, at PAFA and March 3, 2024, at AAMP.
Installations by celebrated artists explore themes of equality, free speech, and other tenets of democracy. In this tour we will explore how art inspires us to reflect on, challenge, and expand our own lived experiences.
Registration includes the entrance fee to PAFA's Museum.
