Join artists Saskia Globig, Michael Ipsen, and Ive Yos of Philadelphia-based collective Lino Kino as they discuss the themes and concepts behind their upcoming performance developed in conjunction with This Won’t Last, the collective’s current exhibition at PAFA.

In This Won’t Last each video piece questions everyday assumptions about the roles and implicit meanings of monumental art in public spaces by presenting subjects rarely memorialized—such as failure, loss, entropy, the mundane, and the unacknowledged—on a monumental scale.

The trio will discuss their individual pieces, the themes that inspired the performance, and their future plans for staging the work.
