Join us for this exciting event, co-hosted by Woodmere Museum and PAFA! Celebrate The Woodmere Annual: 79th Juried Exhibition, featuring the work by 48 artists, many of whom are PAFA alumni and faculty. Seeing the Story, curated by David Wiesner, explores narrative art being made in Philadelphia in the present moment
In this conversation, Wiesner will be joined by successful artists and illustrators, Kate Samworth, Jessica Abel, and Chenlin Cai for an in-depth look at the possibilities of illustration and how these artists are stretching the limits of their medium. Each artist will also share how the pandemic has impacted their work, and the interesting story of how this exhibition came together pre and post-shutdown.
