David R. Brigham, President & CEO, and Clint Jukkala, Dean of the School of Fine Arts, invite you to join alumni and friends of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts for a cocktail reception and viewing of Color Bloc: Paintings by Elizabeth Osborne in conjunction with the College Art Association conference on Thursday, February 4, 2016 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Elizabeth Osborne studied at PAFA in the mid-1950s and was a faculty member from 1963 through 2011. Osborne is a prolific Philadelphia-based painter whose work transitions between abstraction and realism, expanding our understanding of these distinctions. Her paintings bridge ideas about formalist concerns, particularly luminosity with experiential perceptions of nature, atmosphere and vistas.
